Project Execution Manager

Description Overall responsibility for execution team at factory. Ensure adequate staff and resources are in place at the factory to successfully execute Tier 2 and 3 projects. Responsible for succession of escalation for timely and accurate issue resolution. Recruit and train factory execution team.    Responsibilities Accountable for: Project lead time and on time delivery for products Ensuring execution team understands and successfully passes on Customer specifications throughout manufacturing Margin uplift Managing critical path and execution risks Communication internally and externally - effective management of all stakeholders   Primary Responsibilities: Planning & Execution: Develop Tier 2 and 3 plans with the Project Manager and own the manufacturing execution plan Managing critical path and execution risks Coordinate cross-functional project teams Relationship Management: Lead internal communication for project orders Liaise with project managers to ensure effective pre-inspection meetings and successful inspection visits Interface and communicate with the Customer/Sales Office to provide updates, milestones, and progress appropriately Ensure manufacturing alignment on the Customer PO dates and Emerson commitment dates, including milestone dates for drawing and procedure submittals, drawing and procedure approvals, equipment inspection notifications, and "Ready for Inspection" dates Contract Management: Understand Terms and Conditions of contract Minimize exposure to penalties; familiarity with contract law and regulations Work to ensure costs are managed and wherever possible, that still allows the project to meet customer requirements, action should be taken to avoid costs Financial Performance: Engage PMO, Site on the margin uplift decisions and communicate decisions to ensure critical path is met Work with PMO to effectively manage change orders Manage financial targets and metrics for the project with the help of the Project Financial Analyst  Requirements BA or BS degree in Engineering, Business, or related field Minimum 5 years' experience in project management within industrial/manufacturing business Must be fluent in English and local language   Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills Results oriented and able to work independently Ability to remain calm under pressure, acknowledge mistakes, and possess emotional intelligence/diplomacy Work Authorization No calls or agencies please. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
