Air Quality Service Line Leader

Groundwater & Environmental Services, Inc. (GES), an industry leader with a reputation for excellence in providing environmental consulting, engineering, compliance, and technical field services to clients in diverse market sectors, seeks an Air Quality Service Line Leader / Principal Environmental Project Manager.

Our selected candidate will have the technical expertise and leadership ability to drive GES? business direction, operational focus, and internal staff resources to successfully expand the Air Quality Service Line.

Position Expectations:

  • Applies industry knowledge to lead initiatives that support air quality service line development, sales, and project execution.

  • Serves as the senior internal resource for all air quality project work, and provides senior level review and input to help ensure that technical goals, regulatory requirements, client objectives, and GES? quality standards are achieved.

  • Works with Operations to train / apply current staff or build a team of technical professionals to support existing and new project work.

  • Performs project management for high visibility / large scale projects, including project definition, siting, assessment, permitting, data management, and compliance support.

  • Develops strategies to evaluate new business opportunities and implements action plans to pursue and generate revenue growth.

  • Leads all aspects of bid and proposal preparation, working closely with GES' operational and technical leaders applying GES? financial standards and operational processes to ensure highest quality GES submittal.

  • Co-conducts sales presentations and informational seminars as needed for potential clients.

  • Represents GES at industry-related conferences, exhibitions, associations, and functions.

  • Bachelor?s degree or higher in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, Meteorology, or related field discipline. Professional license / certification (P.E., etc.) is a plus.

  • 15+ years of progressive air quality consulting experience, with a high degree of technical competence with Industrial and Petrochemical facilities, in Regulatory Management, Compliance and Support, Greenhouse Gas Emissions & Climate Change, Air Quality Permitting & Strategy, Impact Assessments and Licensing, Control Technology Assessments, and Air Toxics Analysis.

  • Expert knowledge of air quality market trends, analysis methods, mitigation & control strategies, reporting, and regulatory requirements.

  • Proven success in enhancing client relationships due to high quality project execution, budget adherence, and ultimate client satisfaction.

  • A demonstrated business development success record of pursuing and capturing new / incremental project work.

  • The ability to leverage established relationships with key decision-makers to increase air quality related business revenue.

  • Must be a multi-tasked, detail-oriented team player and possess excellent skills in verbal and written communications, time management, organizational management, problem solving, decision-making, and leadership.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
