Manager Quality Assurance

Summary:
Manage overall product and process quality for FSSV ensuring compliance to customer requirements, ISO-9001 and PED standards. Lead the FSSV plant in continuously improving customer service performance in all aspects of the operations. Data driven individual with focus on continuous improvements. Effectively manage the QC team and document control. Works independently under minimal supervision and not afraid to get your hands dirty out in the shop.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
Develop, implement, manage and maintain all aspects of FSSV Quality Management System in accordance with industry standards (ISO 9001 and PED)
Management Representative for Quality Management System for FSSV location
Main contact person for industry certification audits (PED, ISO, customer)
Defines and specifies the implementation of standards, methods and procedures for inspection, testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of company products
Lead quality team in investigations of non-conformances, Field Performance Reports (FPRs)/Return Material Authorizations (RMAs)
Responsible for collecting quality data, data analysis, root cause analysis, reporting and continuous improvements
Use root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions to support continual improvement of products and processes
Responsible for final acceptance of all products
Exercise authority to prevent shipment of non-conforming products
Manage quality communications with customers
Responsible for implementing an effective calibration and maintenance program for measuring and test equipment integrity
Responsible for implementing the internal audit program for FSSV, including coordination of training of internal auditors, preparing checklist/auditor guides, scheduling, conducting and reporting. Coordinate root cause analysis and corrective actions for gaps identified in audits
Train organization on documented policy and procedures
Liaise with Manufacturing and provide support to Lean initiatives
Setup Supplier Quality Management program. Liaise with Supply Chain and provide support on Supplier audits, Supplier performance evaluation KPIs and other aspects
Liaise with Engineering and provide support as needed in ensuring effective implementation of processes post product release like Engineering Change Management, Deviation requests, review of Engineering documentation etc.
Works injury free in compliance with the company's HSE program
Works with high integrity and complies with corporate guidelines on business ethics

Job Requirements
Skills/Knowledge
Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, API-Q1, API-6D, API-598, PED and other applicable manufacturing quality standards and regulations
Must have experience developing and deploying an effective Quality Management System to ISO-9001 or API-Q1/Q2 in an assembly environment
Demonstrated ability to drive permanent corrective action through error proofing, visual controls, and creation of a system and culture in which employees have a strong sense of ownership of standard work procedures and in which those procedures are consistently followed and continuously improved
Must be proficient in reading and interpreting drawings and understanding GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
Sound knowledge of dimensional inspection measurement systems and their application forinspection of machined products
Working knowledge of Non Destructive Examinations (NDE) ? Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant, Radiography and Ultrasonic testing
Good working knowledge with computer software to include, but not limited to: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, SharePoint and Quality Software
Strong background in data collection, analysis and continuous improvements
Strong organizational and planning skills in order to prioritize and plan work activities efficiently.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Must be adaptable to changes in the work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
Ability to work in teams and get results through others
Exposure to FMEA, PPAP, Capability Studies, Process Control, Gage R&R Studies and lean manufacturing methodology a plus
Knowledge in Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing concepts a plus
Familiarity with MRP/ERP Systems a plus
Education/Certifications
Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferably Mechanical/Industrial or equivalent experience as deemed by hiring manager
ASQ Certifications (CQE, CQA, CQM) desirable
QMS Lead auditor certification desirable
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification a plus

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
