The Infrastructure team at TIBCO Jaspersoft supports international teams of developer, automation, and quality assurance engineers. As a key member of this small team DevOps principles are practiced and implemented from design to production. Your primary duty is to maintain, improve, design, develop, and test all build and release tasks. If you like to practice and improve processes such as test-driven development, infrastructure as code, cloud deployment, microservices, continuous deployment, and continuous integration then you will love the role as Senior Build and Release Engineer for the TIBCO Jaspersoft Infrastructure Team. Duties
Extensive Software Development and/or Build and Release experience
Excellent knowledge of Linux and Windows system administration
Experience with virtualization using AWS, Docker, or others
Experience with JDBC and DBMS like PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL server
Proficient Shell Scripting
Programming knowledge in one of the following Python, Groovy, or Java
Experience in build automation with Java, Ant, Maven, and Gradle
Knowledge of Jenkins CI with Pipeline is a plus
Exposure to multi-platform, multi-language build environments and tools
Exposure to Atlassian Jira and Confluence administration and use
Ability to work with worldwide distributed teams
Proficient documentation skills
Troubleshooting Java Applications for performance, memory leaks, and more
Enjoy working with people and a customer driven attitude is critical
Developing and maintaining multiple builds of a variety of products and tools
Developing tools and processes to improve and automate build and release workflows
Troubleshooting and resolving complex software integration and deployment issues
Working with development, automation, and quality assurance teams to improve processes
Filing, resolving, and managing bugs related to infrastructure and release artifacts

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
