JOB SUMMARY The Sr.
Manager, Strategic Sourcing, under the leadership of the Director of Business Planning & Strategic Sourcing, will assume a lead role in developing and implementing a defined and strategic direction for portfolio/category spend based on existing spend, demand and supply challenges, marketplace conditions, and ensuring alignment with the Business Unit (BU) objectives.
The Sr.
Manager, Strategic Sourcing, will be responsible for formulating and managing cross-functional teams to ensure that GST is leveraging spend and resources effectively as well as facilitating supplier performance management in support of our strategic goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSLead and manage associates by providing oversight, direction, coaching and supervision.
Develop and monitor employee performance goals and conduct regular feedback sessions.
Develop sourcing strategies including optimization of supplier base, driving operational efficiencies.
Develop lean processes that drive internal customer satisfaction while meeting overall corporate risk mitigation standards.
Develop and implement bid calendar for all supplier categories.
Partner with GST business units to develop individual departmental strategies.
Work with FSG payables to ensure timely payment of vendors and resolution of vendor issues.
Actively support the company's vision/strategies and demonstrate leadership and accountability.
Add business value through strategy development, while capturing operational and cost efficiencies.
Participate, understand, and act upon GST's short/long term strategic and tactical objectives/plans.
Proactive communications to internal customers and for customer satisfaction.
Focus on supplier performance monitoring/reporting.
Other duties as assigned.
Responsibly receive, transmit, and handle consumer and customer data per applicable policies and procedures.
Review and follow data privacy practices, policies, and guidelines.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESDirectly supervises one or more employees.
Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience requirements:
Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university10
years' experience in strategic sourcing and supply chainKnowledge of general categories of operational spendingMarketing and Advertising experience a plusExperienced in developing strategic sourcing strategiesExperienced in implementing efficient cost measuresStrong analytical skills To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.

Minimal travel is required for this position (up to 20% of the time and on a domestic basis).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
