LSI Staffing Pasadena is hiring fitters at our customer in East Houston TX.
Weekly pay- 2nd shift- Must have experience.
Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of the required components- Measure, cut, and shape metal components using various tools and machinery- Layout quarter lines, fit nozzles with correct projections.
- Weld components together using various welding techniques such as stick welding- Assemble fabricated components into finished products- Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy using tools such as micrometers and calipers- Operate a forklift to transport materials and finished products within the facility.
- Hydro testing is a plus (knowledge or experience)Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fitter is needed.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications- Strong knowledge of codes and standards related to metal fabrication- Experience operating a press brake machine and other metalworking tools- Welding skills, including stick welding, are required- Ability to use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers accurately- Forklift certification is preferred but not required- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision- Willing to grow in various positions- Math skills required such as geometry, fractions.
