This permanent position is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving company in the Construction industry.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.
With a keen eye for detail, you will be expected to maintain the company's financial health and increase profitability in the long run.
Responsibilities1.
Prepare financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses etc.
2.
Oversee the daily activities of the accounts payable and receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis.
3.
Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP.
4.
Ensure that all statutory requirements of the organization are met.
5.
Work closely with project management teams to track project costs and ensure profitability.
6.
Conduct regular ledger maintenance and reconciliation activities.
7.
Prepare year-end close reports and handle income statement preparations.
8.
Use Resman software for property management accounting tasks.
9.
Develop and implement policies and procedures as required to ensure that personnel and financial information is secure.
10.
Act as a liaison between the company and external auditors and accountants.
11.
Assist in the development of financial tools and systems to minimize financial risk.
Qualifications1.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Property Accounting or Commercial Real Estate Accounting.
3.
Proficiency in using property management software, particularly Resman.
4.
Strong knowledge of year-end close processes, income statement preparation, and general ledger functions.
5.
Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting and legislation.
6.
Strong analytical skills with a thorough attention to detail.
7.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8.
Ability to work independently, manage large, complex projects, and meet deadlines.
9.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
10.
CPA certification is a plus.
