We are seeking an experienced Shipping Administrator to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry.
This is a permanent position that will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our shipping and receiving department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of shipping routes and delivery, working closely with various courier services such as FedEx, UPS, and DHL.
This role requires a candidate with a knack for organization, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to meeting tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:
1.
Manage all aspects of shipping and receiving, ensuring that products are shipped and delivered on time.
2.
Liaise with courier services such as FedEx, UPS, and DHL to coordinate shipments and resolve any issues.
3.
Utilize shipping software to track, manage, and coordinate shipments.
4.
Prepare and process shipping documents and labels, including bills of lading, shipping orders, and other records.
5.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
6.
Maintain accurate inventory of all incoming and outgoing materials.
7.
Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, or shipping.
8.
Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
9.
Monitor product import or export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements.
10.
Recommend optimal transportation modes, routing, equipment, or frequency.
Qualifications:
1.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a shipping administration role in the manufacturing industry.
2.
Proven experience with courier services like FedEx, UPS, and DHL.
3.
Proficiency in shipping software and computer systems.
4.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
5.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
7.
In-depth knowledge of shipping procedures and regulations.
8.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
9.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve shipping and logistics issues effectively.
10.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
11.
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field preferred.
